With today’s message, we saw that victory is possible and availabe in the Lord. We should be seeing more of victory and less of defeat in our Christian walk. What has encouraged you regarding this as we have studied the book of Joshua?

Studying this book of Joshua has been incredibly encouraging to me. It has reminded me that victory comes from obeying the instructions of the Lord, no matter how odd they may seem. I liked Pastor Scott’s point about what a strange battle plan the Lord used for the Israelites to defeat Jericho, and he later used a different strategy for defeating Ai. I’m always trying to figure God out so I can “help”. I just need to follow him and watch him accomplish the victory and get all the glory. I’m loving the book of Joshua.
